The editor opens and edits DOCX files in your browser. This version has no account or cloud document storage. Download the updated file before leaving.
Document handling
When you choose a local DOCX file, the browser gives it to the editor running on your device. The site does not provide a document upload or cloud save endpoint. We do not intentionally transmit your document contents to our hosting service or analytics service. The browser may keep temporary site data, such as editor preferences, on your device.
Website requests
Opening the site downloads its HTML, JavaScript, and WebAssembly from our hosting provider, Cloudflare. As with ordinary website requests, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request times, URLs, and technical headers to deliver and protect the site. The large editor WebAssembly file is served from a private R2 bucket through a same-domain Pages Function.
Analytics and AI
No analytics or advertising scripts are included in this first release. AI editing is not active, so document content is not sent to an AI provider by this site.
What you can do
Keep your original DOCX. Download your edited copy before closing the page. You can clear this site's local browser data using your browser settings.
